The Best of Friends!

Beautiful girls... I had so much fun with Jess, Beth and Kara, running around downtown taking pictures of them. These girls have been friends since birth and it was so awesome to create a few memories in photos for them. Thanks for a great afternoon girls...we'll have to do it again sometime!

A Moment in Manhattan.

I was staring at this photo for a while the other day and thought I would post it here for you to see. I took this photo from the Brooklyn Bridge....You can see the Empire State building in the distance and the many building in between. I like this photo because the Empire State Building is recognizable however, it's faded, in the distance and the other buildings stand out a little more vivid.

I started to think that is just what my visit was like. I went to NYC... excited of course to see all the things on my list but, it's when I put the list down and just experienced Manhattan...that I had the most fun. I was able to experience it in a new way...I let the moments happen, had some great conversations with "New Yorker's"and was able to experience a little of this amazing city...kind of like this photo, Yes, the things on my list were great to see too but the vivid moments are those not on a list...they just happened.

A photoshoot for an award winning Canadian author...you bet I was up for that! I had a lovely afternoon with Mary, even if it was in Edmonton and a little on the chilly side.
